Socials
Cycling is a great way to meet people. The regular club runs are a social on a bike, as you get to catch up with other riders as you naturally rotate through the group. On top of that, club runs will routinely include a coffee stop, typically at the end of the Saturday club run, or around the halfway point of the Sunday club runs.
We also hold social events through the year, including the Club Dinner and the Summer BBQ. The Summer BBQ is unique as it immediately follows the 2-up lottery time trial round Thruxton racing circuit, which is great fun.
The club organises occasional cycle tours, the most recent being three days to and around Exeter in October 2024. Prior to that, there were four days to and around the Brecon Beacons in the Spring of 2024, and a weekend to the Isle of Wight in 2022.
